Sankofa Juneteenth T-Shirt — Remember Where It Began
For many families, the road to June 19, 1865, began on the coast of Ghana, at the Door of No Return. This tee joins the two ends of that story with Sankofa, the Adinkra bird that looks back, which means "go back and fetch it."
From the door of no return to the day of jubilee. A quiet, meaningful shirt for Juneteenth and for every day you remember.

The meaning
Sankofa means “go back and fetch it.” The Akan proverb says Se wo were fi na wosankofa a yenkyi: it is not wrong to go back for what you forgot. Wear it as a reminder that your history is yours to carry forward.
